'Luxury' - which was produced by no-other than Travis Stewart (Machinedrum) - appears on her Fantasea mixtape. The '90s house throwback' "luxury" showcases how banks' collaborations can work successfully.
The video takes that familiar monochrome banks' style we've all grown used to, to a more polished level, revisiting the black and white look we all saw in last year's "212" track. The video sees the rapper wearing a chic hat and mid-driff baring ensemble all whilst performing a choreographed dance routine on the New York rooftop. It's all enough to make you wonder what the star will do next with her long-delayed debut album "Broke with expensive taste" shortly arriving.
Banks has been making further headlines this week. When it was reported she was told to pull the plug on her latest single by Dutch producer Munchi, whose reworking of Montell Jordan's R&B hit "Get it on tonite" appears on the Fantasea track "Esta Noche".
The star kicks off her sold-out uk tour tomorrow in Manchester.
