Is Angel Haze the next big thing in hip-hop?

Who is Angel haze? She's only been rapping for three years but already she's creating a buzz that could deafen the most critical blogger.  Only 21 years-old, Haze describes herself as "Native American, Trend Setting Veteran."

Her latest project Reservation has proven the rappers worth, the EP (which at 14 tracks isn't really an EP) was released back in July and has been earning the newcomer some rave reviews. Her ferocious flow has helped score her a record deal with Universal Republic Records. Haze is defiantly different.

Last month, her track 'New York' blew up on the internet, the 21 year-old raps with much menace over its stark and clattering handclap beat, boasting the lyrics 'i run New York'. It seems no ones arguing with that statement. Haze says that she doesn't want people to see her as a rapper but more of a rock star   and that the only physical label she'll cop to is "pansexual".

Hip Hop could use some variety especially from a new artist whose willing to pit herself against anyone with a mic.
