"XP€N$IV $H1T" by Die Antwoord

South-African rappers, Die Antwoord (Ninaj & Yo-landi Vi$$er) after releasing their sophomore album Ten$ion at the beginning of the year. The freaky ravers hit back with their newest track 'XP€N$IV $H1T' which coincides with Yo-Landi's highly publicised FHM cover shoot, whom some have called weird and scary.

The song is typical Die Antwoord material with vibes of past songs, such as 'Rich Bitch'. We see the rappers sing about money whilst the lyrics are tinged with overtones of in your face humour, "I saw lady Gaga's new telephone head/I saw hugh Heff's Girlfriend's new boobs". They've defiantly upped their lyrical power since we last saw them. The song features more Ninaj and less Yo-Landi. The DJ Hi-tek beats are aggressive enough to make you take the song seriously but also question why on earth am i listening to this? I was hoping for more Rave techno, more club. The song sees the band pushing the envelope on music once more.

Take a listen to their new track below:
